DESCRIPTION:Seven years ago\, a small inkling crept into my mind to revisit
a childhood dream of becoming a full-time artist. I didn't know how to do
it and I felt completely lost. I had a very stable career as a math teach
er already\, not to mention a Master's Degree in Education from Stanford U
niversity\, and a deep-rooted fear of disappointing my immigrant parents.
Still\, I knew I had to try. In this talk\, I want to share all of the dif
ferent art paths I took\, my failures and my successes\, to get to where I
am today as a full-time concept artist.
