Biography

VR/AR sound and spatial audio pioneer Scot Stafford has composed and/or sound supervised music for all seventeen Google Spotlight Stories. In animation he is best known for his music for Lost Ollie (Peter Ramsey), the Annie award-winning score on Pearl, collaborations with Glen Keane (Duet for which he won AICE’s “Best Original Music” award), Doug Sweetland (Presto, nominated for an Oscar) and Jan Pinkava (Windy Day).  He made his directorial debut with Sonaria (Emmy, VES and Webby award nominated).  Stafford His music appears in dozens of film and tv projects including Cartoon Network’s Long Live the Royals and the feature length rockumentary Don’t Think I’ve Forgotten, whose score includes hundreds of recordings he produced at his nonprofit studio in Cambodia, as well as collaborations with rock visionaries Calexico and Dengue Fever. He founded music collective Pollen Music Group in 2010. He is currently working on Shannon Tindle's Ultraman feature for Netflix, and several R&D projects with Meta, Google, and Pink Floyd.
