I’m a german lighting designer for theater with over 15 years of experience in the field of lighting. Since the theater is quite an old form of art, the methods are too. A few years back I started to develop all my shows in a 3D - Lighting Visualization Software Capture.
I did everything from modeling to lighting and combined my hobby with my job in an unusual way for the classic workflow in german theaters. Over time my field of interest shifted from 3D modeling to texturing and material creation.
I was fascinated by what a huge impact the right material can have on the realism of a 3D render. So a little about three years ago I bought a substance license and played around with it a little bit and got really addicted to that amazing piece of software.
From that point I tried to create all my materials with Substance Designer.
